ABOUT OUR FLOAT TANKS
Although we have 3 types of float tanks, once you are inside they are all virtually identical. The main differences is aesthetic.
Certain people have different tank preferences: some people prefer the womb-like style of the Oasis & Explorer. Others like the little bit of extra space provided in the Pro Float Cabin room.
All 3 tanks have ventilation, a comprehensive filtration system, and built-in speakers that wake you up with gentle music when the float session is completed.
The Oasis Float Tank was first introduced in 1984. Since then it has gone through several iterations yet the tank’s classic design still remains true to its roots. It’s a very traditional style of float tank; it is 4.5 feet tall, 4.5 feet wide, and 8 feet long. There are safety rails for easy exit and entrance, and the door never locks or latches.
The Explorer was made by ‘Escape Pod’ and was first introduced in 2014. Since then they have been providing floats across USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Australia and Europe. Similar to The Oasis tank, it’s a very traditional style of pod; it is 4 feet tall, 3.75 feet wide, and 8 feet long. There are safety rails for easy exit and entrance, and the door never locks or latches.
The Cabin was introduced in 2015 by ‘Pro Float’, which is the only Canadian Float Tank Manufacturer in the float industry. It is taller than your typical tank, allowing you to stand upright as you enter and exit; it’s 8 feet tall, 5.5 feet wide, and 8 feet long. There is also a light on the inside that you can turn on and off. You still only lie in 10 inches of water like the other tanks. There are safety rails for easy exit and entrance, and the door never locks you in (just like all of our tanks!).
This tank also has AUX & Bluetooth connectivity if you were interested in having some audio playing during the float. (We highly recommend floating with no audio, but the option is always available for you!)
